APIO have been at the forefront of Jimny lifestyle, maintenance and modification in Japan for many decades, with the company having originally been founded back in 1969.

A quick, easy and ingenious solution from APIO to help you load up your Jimny with luggage when there is limited space in which to swing open the tailgate.

Using the Tailgate Stopper Belt, you can limit how far the tailgate opens by holding it in place while you go about your business. No more holding the tailgate nervously with one hand to stop it from swinging open while trying to load your luggage one-handed! Perfect for supermarket car parks and those who park on the street regularly.

Available in Black or Orange.

Notes from APIO regarding this product:

  • Please do not leave the tailgate open while relying on the Tailgate Stopper Belt for extended periods of time
  • Please be careful when opening the tailgate in strong winds or on steep hills
  • Do not close the tailgate with the Tailgate Stopper Belt connected, it should be disconnected from the tailgate first (as per the video below)
  • Please open the tailgate slowly when in use
  • It is advised to remove the Tailgate Stopper Belt when washing the car to prevent it from getting soaked and not being able to dry off sufficiently

Package includes:

  • 1x Nylon Tailgate Stopper Belt
  • 2x YKK SNAD attachments
  • 1x 3M Velcro tape attachment
